EBOO Therapy

Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation & Ozonation for metabolic support, recovery, and cellular performance.

EBOO Therapy

A Metabolic & Mitochondrial Optimization Therapy EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation & Ozonation) is an advanced metabolic therapy that circulates your blood through a semi-permeable membrane while exposing it to a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture.
This process supports mitochondrial performance, improves oxygen utilization, enhances redox balance, and promotes metabolic vitality.
Unlike apheresis or plasma exchange, EBOO does not remove large immune molecules or replace plasma. It functions as a metabolic reset, often used for energy enhancement, immune support, chronic fatigue, optimization, or recovery.

Metabolic Oxygenation Therapy

How EBOO Works

During an EBOO session, blood is gently circulated through a specialized oxygenation system. As it passes through the membrane, it interacts with medical-grade oxygen and ozone, supporting cellular signaling, improving oxygen delivery, and reducing oxidative burden. This treatment helps enhance metabolic efficiency, energy production, and recovery pathways. It is especially useful for individuals experiencing low energy, chronic fatigue, post-viral symptoms, or those seeking overall performance optimization.

Metabolic Support

Many individuals report more stable energy and improved daily performance.

Redox Balance

EBOO may help reduce oxidative load and improve
cellular recovery.

Symptom Progress

Patients often experience improvements in clarity, stamina, or recovery depending on their baseline state.
What to Expect During Your Visit

What to Expect From Your Treatment Journey

Pre-Treatment

You will meet with your physician to review your medical history, medications, and eligibility for oxygen–ozone therapy. Hydration is recommended before treatment.

Post-Treatment

Most patients feel relaxed, energized, or mildly tired afterward. Normal activities can be resumed the same day. Your clinician will advise on follow-up treatments if needed.
Understanding the Therapy

What EBOO Therapy Is

Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation

Blood is drawn from one arm, passed through a filter where it meets a controlled mixture of medical oxygen and ozone, then returned through the other arm. The circuit runs continuously for about 45 to 60 minutes, so a large volume of blood passes through the filter in a single session rather than one small fixed amount. You may see the therapy called EBOO 2.0 or EBO2. These describe the same continuous flow approach.

The Role of Ozone

Ozone is what separates EBOO from a standard IV therapy. Medical ozone is a three atom form of oxygen that behaves differently from the oxygen you breathe. On contact with blood it forms short lived reaction products that act as a mild oxidative signal, and it is that signal, rather than the ozone itself, that the body responds to. Ozone therapy is not FDA approved for the treatment of disease in the United States and is offered at physician discretion after Dr. Sandhu reviews your history.
How It Compares

EBOO Compared to Other Ozone Approaches

Major Autohemotherapy

Treats a single fixed volume of blood, usually around 200 milliliters, ozonates it in a bag, and returns it. There is no filtration step, and the treated volume is limited to what the bag holds. It is a smaller and simpler procedure than EBOO, and it is not what we perform here.

Continuous Flow EBOO

Runs blood continuously through a filter for the length of the session, so the volume treated is substantially larger. The filter also captures some lipid and particulate material during treatment, which is why patients often see discolored residue afterward.Compare INUSpheresis, EBOO, and therapeutic plasma exchange
Where We Perform EBOO

EBOO Therapy in New Jersey and the New York Area

Warren, New Jersey

EBOO is performed at our Warren clinic in Somerset County, under an hour from Midtown Manhattan. Patients travel to us from across New Jersey, including Watchung, Bridgewater, Basking Ridge, and the surrounding towns, as well as from throughout the tri state area.

Traveling for Treatment

Relatively few practices offer continuous flow EBOO under direct physician supervision, so we regularly care for patients who fly in. A virtual pre assessment lets us confirm your candidacy before you book travel, and we plan your schedule to keep trips to a minimum. Call 908-888-9199.

Frequently Asked Questions

HIGH VISUAL PERFORMANCE

What does EBOO actually do?

EBOO supports metabolic and mitochondrial pathways by exposing blood to a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture during circulation.

Is EBOO the same as apheresis?

No. It does not remove antibodies or inflammatory molecules and is not a filtration therapy. It is a metabolic oxygenation treatment.

How many EBOO sessions should I do?

This depends on your goals. Some patients do a single refresh; others follow a structured plan.

Who benefits the most?

Those dealing with fatigue, low energy, recovery issues, post-viral symptoms, or seeking performance enhancement.

Does it hurt?

No. The process is comfortable, with light circulation and monitoring.

Can it be combined with peptides or NAD+ programs?

Yes. EBOO pairs well with peptide stacks, NAD+ therapy, and longevity protocols.

Is EBOO the same as ozone therapy?

EBOO is one form of ozone therapy, but it is not the same as major autohemotherapy or direct IV ozone. Major autohemotherapy treats a single fixed volume of blood, usually around 200 milliliters, in a bag. EBOO runs blood continuously through a filter for the whole session, so the volume treated is substantially larger, and the filtration step is not part of autohemotherapy at all.

Is EBOO FDA approved?

No. Ozone therapy is not FDA approved for the treatment of disease in the United States. It is offered at physician discretion after individual assessment. Dr. Sandhu reviews your history and labs first and will tell you directly if EBOO is not appropriate for you.

Where can I get EBOO near me in New Jersey?
